How to use this tool

Numbering is always the original
A common mistake with page deletion is assuming the numbers shift as
pages come out — that removing page 2 makes the old page 3 into the
new page 2 before the next deletion happens. This tool removes from
the end backwards, so every number you type refers to the document
as it is now. List 2,3,4 and you lose pages two, three
and four, not two, four and six.
Deleting is not redacting
Removing a page removes the page. It does not remove sensitive text from pages you keep, and it does not strip document metadata such as the author name or the software that produced the file. If your reason for deleting a page is confidentiality, check the remaining pages for the same information before sending.
Keep the original
The file on your device is untouched — the tool builds a new document and hands it back. Save the result under a different name so you can go back if you take out one page too many.
Your files stay on your device
No PDF is uploaded here. The file is opened and rewritten inside your own browser, so there is no server holding a copy and nothing to delete afterwards. For contracts, statements and identity documents — the things people most often need to merge or split — that is the whole point.
Frequently asked questions
Do page numbers change as pages are deleted?
No. Every number you type refers to the original document. The tool removes pages from the end backwards so the numbering stays stable throughout.
Can I delete all but a few pages?
You can, but it is easier the other way round: use the split tool and list the pages you want to keep. Same result, less typing.
Is the original file changed?
No. The file on your device is left alone and a new PDF is produced. Save it under a different name to keep both.
Does deleting a page remove its content from the file completely?
The page and its content are dropped from the new document. Note that this is not redaction — sensitive text on the pages you keep stays there, and document metadata is unaffected.
What if I remove every page by mistake?
The tool refuses. A PDF has to have at least one page, so it will tell you rather than producing an empty file.
